Following on from the success of our US Trade Tour<\/a> in 2013, it was the turn of Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s key professionals to\"_DSC1885<\/a> discover or re-discover VIN DE FRANCE and its potential for the Canadian market.<\/p>\n

Our mission: to give over 20 key Qu\u00e9bec buyers, importers, restaurant owners and journalists a crash course on VIN DE FRANCE, and give them the opportunity to taste a selection of VIN DE FRANCE wines.<\/p>\n

Bruno Kessler (ANIVIN DE FRANCE<\/a>\u2019s president), Laurent Delaunay (Badet Clement & Co<\/a> brand president) and I travelled to the Mus\u00e9e des Beaux Arts in Montreal, where the VIN DE FRANCE Trade Conference and Tasting took place on 30th<\/sup> April.<\/p>\n

\"_DSC1877<\/a>The day started with a talk on the VIN DE FRANCE category, during which we presented its DNA, its assets and its ambitions to an audience of 30 key trade players. A tasting lunch followed and showcased 20 VIN DE FRANCE wines. We were able to network with our guests and answer their questions during both the conference and the tasting, making for a lively interactive event.<\/p>\n

Once again, we got a very positive and encouraging feedback on VIN DE FRANCE and its \"_DSC1881<\/a>wines from the participants, which included Michel Saint Jean (Marketing Director, Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Alcools du Qu\u00e9bec<\/a>), Fran\u00e7ois Simard (Marketing Director, Maison des Futailles<\/a>) and Romain Gruson (Lecturer and Sommelier, ITHQ<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Press coverage following the event included pieces from Ronald Georges in Radio Canada<\/a>, \u00a0\u00a0Jean Aubry in Le Devoir<\/a> and Claude Langlois in Le Journal de Montreal<\/a>, reaching an audience of over 300 000.<\/p>\n

Summer will be a busy time at ANIVIN DE FRANCE, with the diary filled with a host of promotional activities for VIN DE FRANCE around the globe.<\/p>\n

Next stop, ANIVIN DE FRANCE will be flying to China w\/c 23 June for a Trade Tour of Qingdao<\/a> Chongqing<\/a> and Wuhan<\/a>, which will include tutored tastings hosted by Xu Wei, press dinners and trade meetings with buyers and importers.<\/p>\n

Alter in August, we\u2019ll take part in the The Global Wine, Beer & Spirits trade event<\/a> in San Diego, where the ten following companies will present their VIN DE FRANCE wines to buyers and press: Metrowine Distribution<\/a>, Maison Tramier<\/a>, Gabriel Meffre<\/a>, Lionel Osmin & Cie<\/a>, Groupe Taillan<\/a>, Val d’Orbieu<\/a>, Badet Clement & Co<\/a>, Sacha Lichine<\/a>, Tri-Vin<\/a>, La Coterie<\/a>.<\/p>\n
