Pigassou
If Pigassou sales are any indication, many of our customers are romantics: Francophiles with happy memories of the sunny south in the days when a handful of francs bought a tasty two-course lunch and a pichet of rouge maison. Some things are still the same - like the small troupe of ageing winegrowers loyal to the grapes their families have grown for generations - Alicante, Cinsault, Grenache and Carignan among them. Brash, young supermarket Buyers don't care much for this sort of wine but maybe that's just as well. It's only made in tiny quantities and we can barely get enough keep Pigassou fans happy. But happy they certainly are.
