At the beginning, the vineyard, coverd an area of 1ha and half. Since 1988, Victor and is brother Vincent tried to produce the better of their terroir.

We produced a huge range of wine, from the Anjou Villages Brissac to the Côteaux de l’Aubance.
Today the vineyard is spread on 45 ha. Aged between 10 to 90 years old, the vine of Montgilet estate are shared on the best terroir of slits and leaded according to respect cultural : labor, short pruning, manual harvest…
Our philosophy is to produce quality wine and affordable.

Grapes : 100% grolleau

Terroir : clay on blue slits

Age of the vine : 53 years old

Vineyard : Short pruning, trained and grassed vine, ploughing at the end of the winter. unleaving in July. Manual harvest in case of 25 kgs
Vinification : Our Vin de Pays du jardin de la France GROLLEAU is collected manually in case of 25 kgs on the pieces of old vines of Grolleau. The grapes are poured directly in the tanks to make a carbonic maceration (in whole bunch)..

Aging : Tank

Analys : Alc. 12.79%, AT 3.25, pH 3.44

Tasting note : thirsty wine, soft and spicy, the Grolleau is a friend wine.

Dish and wine : To be useful fresh between 8° and 10°, it as well accompanies the dishes by fish as the white or red meats roasted, the quiches, the salted tarts, the laminated ones. Excel on the pork-butcheries.
