In the cooler regions of the Languedoc, where the morning mist tempers the strength of the sun, we have specially selected Sauvignon Blanc vineyards in order that offer the best aromatic purity and crispness. It is in these relatively cool micro-climates that the Sauvignon Blanc, develops the slightly, lively smokiness that makes those wines so unique. Virginie Navet, our “Les Fumées Blanches” oenologist uses ultra modern vinification techniques that capture all the freshness and subtlety of the aromas allowing maximum expression.
«Les Fumées Blanches» takes its name from the light morning mists which drift like white smoke over the foothill vineyards in southern France. Over 15 years, this wine has become a reference, adopted and appreciated by many customers throughout the world. Its success is due to its consistent quality year after year which has established Les Fumées Blanches as a world-wide brand. The secret of its success is the selection of a number of different terroir that give Sauvignon wines of different aromatic profiles; from lively citrus aromas through to richer more tropical notes - and to blend them together.
Les Fumées Blanches Pinot Noir

100% Pinot Noir - The red grape variety used to produce Burgundy’s famous Côte D’Or red wines. It is among the most delicate of varieties, owing to its refinement and ability to reflect the terroir, only unveiling its qualities when grown in the noblest soils, with low yields and when vinified with care.
Les Fumées Blanches Rosé

50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet-Sauvignon
The climate in 2010 was unpredictable.
In the month of April we had heavier rain than in 2009 but also snow falls late into the season (4th April) and frost.
This year will be of a very high quality with a very nice concentration of fruit and good acidity levels which will give an added liveliness and freshness to the wines. Yields however are down 30%.
Les Fumées Blanches Sauvignon Blanc

100% Sauvignon – of French origin (Loire Valley – Bordeaux): now one of the most widely grown varieties in the world. Well suited to cool, oceanic climates. Perfect for obtaining lively wines with powerful aromas.
