VIN DE FRANCE BEST VALUE SELECTION – A STAR ATTRACTION AT PROWEIN

On 19 March the Vin De France communications campaign for our awarded Vin De France wines, started its 2017 journey, with our promotional activities at this year’s ProWein. For the seventh consecutive year at this event, we launched our 138 Best Value Selection medal-winning wines to some 58.5k visitors.

On Sunday 19 March our 52 m2 stand was the platform for our awards ceremony, where certificates were given to our medal-winning producers. For the rest of the week we ran a permanent free-pour tasting area, and held three seminars, hosted by wine consultant Ina Finn, Director of the Deutschen Wein und Sommeliershule (the German wine and sommelier school), who selected a range of Vin De France wines focusing on the gamut of varietals within the Selection. The seminars were very popular and attracted additional crowds to the stand on the Sunday and Monday.

Feedback on the wines was very positive. The stand saw a steady stream of visitors, and our team was constantly on the go. Alongside the free-pour tasting, each visitor to the stand was also provided with a tasting booklet giving them contact details and stand numbers of the producers of the featured wines in order to maximise commercial opportunities for Vin De France brands.

Our involvement at ProWein was again supported by a large-scale communication campaign including a special feature in The Drinks Business (UK), reaching a total audience of over 55k wine professionals. Copies of the magazine were available on our stand and around the Fair. Prior to the exhibition, ANIVIN DE FRANCE also sent a trade e-newsletter to key wine trade contacts in over 10 export markets to drive traffic to the stand. We will continue the communication campaign in the next months with features in key magazines in various strategically important export markets, including Belgium, Germany, Denmark and the US.

We have just enough time to reflect on Vin De France’s successful presence at ProWein before gearing up for the next leg of ANIVIN DE FRANCE’s international campaign, which will take us to VINEXPO Bordeaux, Hall 1, Booth A22.
