VIN DE FRANCE CONFIRMS ITS POSITION AT PROWEIN

I am just back from the VIN DE FRANCE’s 6th consecutive ProWein in Düsseldorf Germany, where ANIVIN DE FRANCE revealed the latest Best Value Vin de France Selection.  I am thrilled to share with you our very positive experience at what has become a (if not the) leading international trade exhibition for wine in Europe.ProWein_14032016_503

6,200 companies exhibited at ProWein this year and the show attracted over 55,000 visitors, half of them from abroad. ProWein’s growing success makes it a key part of VIN DE FRANCE international promotional campaign.

The 116 wines selected in February by our international panel of wine experts were showcased over three days at ProWein on a 60sqm VIN DE FRANCE dedicated stand. Visitors to the stand were provided with a tasting booklet giving them contact details and stand numbers of the producers of the featured wines in order to maximise commercial opportunities for VIN DE FRANCE brands.

Anivin 47Our involvement was once again supported by a large scale communication campaign including special features in several international trade publications such as Wein + Markt (Germany), The Drinks Business (UK), Gondola Magazine (Belgium), Perswijn (Netherlands), reaching a total readership of over 130,000 trade professionals. Prior to the exhibition, ANIVIN DE FRANCE also sent a trade e-newsletter to key wine trade contacts in over 10 export markets to drive traffic to the stand. Finally, we conducted press relations on site, generating press coverage in several publications such as Wein + Markt online .

Our stand was well situated on the busy French pavilion and we welcomed a steady stream of visitors throughout the exhibition, including key buyers, journalists and importers.

ProWein was also the opportunity to award the Best Value Vin de France Selection Gold Medals.  Bruno Kessler (ANIVIN DE FRANCE’s vice-president) and ProWein_14032016_538Laurent Delaunay (ANIVIN DE FRANCE’s board member) gave away their prizes to the proud winners on the VIN DE FRANCE stand on Sunday 13th March.

We have just enough time to reflect on VIN DE FRANCE’s successful presence at ProWein before gearing up for the next step of ANIVIN DE FRANCE’s international campaign, which will take us to Vinexpo Hong-Kong in China in May. I will tell you more on that very soon on the blog!
